Privacy policy
This policy describes what is live on the day you read it. It is generated from the same configuration flags that decide whether any advertising or analytics code ships, so it cannot describe a state the site is not in.
What the calculators do with your entries
The short version is that your answers never leave the machine you typed them on, and the architecture of the site is what guarantees it rather than a promise from us.
The calculators on this site run entirely in your browser and do not transmit or store the numbers you enter.
Nothing you type into a form here is sent anywhere. There is no account, no saved session and no server-side component that could receive it — the pages are static files and the arithmetic runs on your own device.
Advertising
Whether this site carries advertising is decided by a single build setting, and the paragraphs below are generated from that same setting rather than written by hand.
No advertising code runs on this site today.
If this site is approved for Google AdSense, Google AdSense will serve advertisements on it, and this policy’s advertising section will be updated in the same deploy that adds any advertising code.
Once ads serve, third-party vendors, including Google, will use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or to other websites, and where you have consented, ads may be personalized based on those prior visits.
Visitors can control personalized Google advertising at https://adssettings.google.com and can review industry opt-out choices at https://www.aboutads.info.
Those Google-operated controls exist independently of this site and work whether or not this site shows ads.
Consent and your privacy choices
Consent tooling only exists where there is something to consent to, so this section tracks the advertising section above rather than standing on its own.
No consent management platform runs on this site today, because there is no advertising code to consent to.
The “Privacy choices” link in the footer of every page currently opens this section of the privacy policy; once the consent platform is live, the same link will reopen the consent manager and will serve as the opt-out-of-sharing mechanism under applicable US state privacy laws.
Analytics
Measurement is gated by its own build setting, separate from advertising, and the sentence below reports the state of that setting in the build you are reading.
This build of the site includes no analytics script — nothing counts or records your visit.
When analytics is enabled, it will be Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless service that does not use cookies or track you across sites, and this section will be updated in the same deploy.
What third parties collect
Nothing on this site is served by a third party that could observe you, other than the hosting provider described further down, unless and until advertising ships.
What third parties collect: no advertising vendor collects anything from your visit today, because no ad code runs on this site.
If Google AdSense approves this site and ads begin serving, advertising vendors, including Google, may collect cookie and device identifiers and activity data to serve and measure ads — identifiers that can constitute personal information under state law — and this policy will be updated in the same deploy.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
If ads ever serve here and state law treats sharing data for targeted advertising as a “sale” or “sharing,” the opt-out will be the “Privacy choices” footer link (restricted data processing) and the Google links above.
Hosting logs
The pages are served by a hosting provider that keeps ordinary operational request logs, including addresses and user agents, for security and reliability. Those logs are the provider’s and are not used here to build any profile of you.
Children
This is a home-improvement cost reference with nothing directed at children, and no information is knowingly collected from anyone under thirteen.
Changes
Any change to what the site collects ships together with the change to this page, in the same deployment. Questions go to the address on the contact page.
